Returns & refunds policy
Change of Mind
We understand that not every purchase may match your expectations. So we offer hassle-free 7 day returns in exchange for store credit. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair-Trading Act 1986 (discussed below) to ensure that you can shop with peace of mind.
Terms & Conditions for Returns
Subject to the clause entitled “Defective Products”, any products you return must be suitable for resale. This means that a product must be in its original unused condition, specifications, and packaging, along with any accompanying accessories/Guarantees/Instructions together with the invoice and/or packing slip accompanying the product. A product cannot be returned if it has been used, modified, damaged, altered or not it in its original packaging.
Products must be returned and inspected before any store credit will be granted.
We cannot accept the following types of products: personalised products, promotional products sold with free shipping or clearance products.
Any store credit will not include any shipping costs.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.
After 7 days a 30% restocking fee will apply to any product coming back into store, subject to the same standard terms and conditions.
Any store credit will be issued to the original purchaser.
If a product is returned that does not meet the above criteria:
The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
Defective Products
We work hard to ensure that your standards are met. However, should you have an issue with a product, we are happy to honour our obligations to you under both the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair-Trading Act 1996. These obligations are in addition to our returns policy (discussed above).
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell. We may repair, replace or refund any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair-Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
Returning Defective Products
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement, or refund.
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair-Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product. We will not offer you a store credit when providing you with a refund.
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
